Sandusky, Ohio — Sandusky City Schools is proud to announce the hiring of Dr. Talisa Dixon as the district’s new Interim Chief of Staff for the 2026–2027 school year.
Dr. Dixon brings a wealth of experience in education, leadership and organizational excellence. With a distinguished career dedicated to student achievement, academic innovation and collaborative leadership, she is exceptionally well-prepared to support Sandusky City Schools in advancing its mission and vision.
Known for her strong commitment to educational equity and student success, Dr. Dixon comes to Sandusky City Schools with vast knowledge of teaching, learning and leading. Her background includes extensive work in school improvement, strategic planning, leadership development and building high-performing educational systems that support both students and staff.
As Chief of Staff, Dr. Dixon will play a vital role in supporting district initiatives, strengthening communication and collaboration across departments and helping to ensure that Sandusky City Schools continues to provide high-quality educational opportunities for all students.
