Anti-Bullying Resources:
We work hard every single day to ensure that students accelerate academically, and the safety and well-being of our students is a top priority. Bullying and cyber-bullying affect a student’s ability to focus on learning and to succeed in the classroom and beyond. These inappropriate behaviors are a concern to all of us who work with students on a daily basis. Recent events in the news remind us of the tragic impact that this harassment can have on students. Below you will find important terms and resources that are available to educators, parents, and students to enhance students’ experiences at SHS. Sandusky High School has a zero tolerance for bullying and all incidents should be reported to the principals, counselors, and/or the school resource officer.
Visit the district "Safety & Security" page for information on how to stop bullying and harassing behavior.

Students Set to Return to In-Person Learning

Sandusky City Schools will return to a two option learning model beginning Tuesday, January 19, 2021. Families will have the option for their student(s) either to remain learning virtual, or to return to in-person learning. Students who choose to return to the five-day in-person learning option will report to their assigned building on Tuesday, January 19, 2021. Students who choose to remain virtual will continue with their current schedule. “We are excited to return to in-person learning”, stated Dr. Eugene Sanders, Chief Executive Officer and Superintendent. “It is our intention to remain with this two option learning models throughout the remainder of the school year. The district will continue its health and safety protocols as students return to school.” Families are also reminded to contact their child’s school with any address (proof of address required) or phone number changes. It is imperative for buildings to have the most updated contact information for students.
