Anti-Bullying Resources:
We work hard every single day to ensure that students accelerate academically, and the safety and well-being of our students is a top priority. Bullying and cyber-bullying affect a student’s ability to focus on learning and to succeed in the classroom and beyond. These inappropriate behaviors are a concern to all of us who work with students on a daily basis. Recent events in the news remind us of the tragic impact that this harassment can have on students. Below you will find important terms and resources that are available to educators, parents, and students to enhance students’ experiences at SHS. Sandusky High School has a zero tolerance for bullying and all incidents should be reported to the principals, counselors, and/or the school resource officer.
Visit the district "Safety & Security" page for information on how to stop bullying and harassing behavior.

Sandusky City Schools Provides Backpack and School Supplies for All Incoming Kindergarten Students
Sandusky City Schools is excited to announce the Foundation for Success program. This program aims to help Kindergarten students at Sandusky City Schools prepare for a lifelong love of learning. This year as part of the program, with help from community partners, Sandusky City Schools will be providing every incoming Kindergarten student with a backpack and a kit of school supplies completely free of charge. The Foundation for Success program would not be possible without the generous donations from the Wightman-Wieber Foundation, For Love with Love, and the Dorn Foundation. With their commitment to helping our students, we are ensuring that the Blue Streak class of 2033 is beginning their education on a solid foundation. Kindergarten students will receive their backpack on the first day of school, with all of the school
supplies needed to get them started for the year.
