Open House/Family Orientations

August 27, 2024 - SHS/SDLC
4:30 pm - SHS Programs for SUCCESS Mandatory Parent Meeting
5:30 pm - Freshman Orientation
6:00 pm - SDLC & SHS Open House

August 28, 2024 - SELA, SPS, SIS, RCAAS, & SMS
10:00 am - 5:00 pm - Open House/Family Orientations

• Don’t forget to pick up your District Printed Calendar while you’re there!

Staggered Start Information

August 29, 2024 - Staggered Starts for SPS, SIS, RCAAS & SMS
SELA - Preschool Only (no staggered start, will come to school as normal)
SPS - 1st Grade Only
SIS & RCAAS - 3rd & 4th Grade Only
SMS - 8th Grade Only
SHS & SDLC will start and continue school as normal, no staggered start.

August 30, 2024 - Staggered Starts for SPS, SIS, RCAAS & SMS
SELA - 1st Day of School for Kindergarten, Preschool comes to school as normal
SPS - 2nd Grade Only
SIS & RCAAS - 5th & 6th Grade Only
SMS - 7th Grade Only
SHS & SDLC - Come to school as normal

September 3, 2024 - All Students come to school

OneView LogoWhat is One View? It is our new portal for enrollment and Emergancy Medical information. You can now fill out all of your district paperwork online and in minutes! Creating an account is required this year. NO PAPER FORMS WILL BE ACCEPTED.

Here Comes the Bus



Here Comes the Bus Logo

Here Comes the Bus is a school bus tracking app for parents. The app shows real-time bus locations on a map. Parents will know both scheduled and actual arrivals for their child's bus and can even enable push notifications when the bus is near.

To Sign Up:
- Download the Here Comes the Bus app or visit herecomesthebus.com
- Click the 'Sign Up' button
- Enter Sandusky City Schools' Code: 30091
- Click 'Next' & 'Confirm'
- Complete the 'User Profile' Box
- Under 'My Students' click 'Add'. Enter each child's last name and Student ID #
- Once you receive confirmation, you're ready to go!
