article object Sidney Frohman Planetarium Maya Archaestronomy: Observers of the Universe at Sidney Frohman Planetarium
Check out Maya Archaeoastronomy: Observers of the Universe at Sidney Frohman Planetarium! This program will be held August 21st, & 28th at 7:00 pm. Shows are free to the public and are best for children ages 8 and up.

This program from European Southern Observatory, in collaboration with the National Council of Science and Technology of Mexico is the first fully animated fulldome show made in Mexico. It is unique among planetarium shows, intertwining science and mythology to take the viewer on a poetic journey through how the Maya have viewed and understood the Universe throughout their history. The visuals are stunning, giving the viewer the impression of being inside a beautifully stylistic painting. The planetarium is at the rear of Sandusky High School. Please enter the parking lot from the light on West Perkins Avenue by the Tractor Supply Store.  For more information call 419-984-1136 or email Lwolf@scs-k12.netLwolf@scs-k12.net
