Jennifer Chapman - Vice-President

Board of Education

Jennifer Chapman

Mrs. Jennifer Chapman

Board of Education Vice-President

My name is Jennifer Wieber-Chapman and I am a life-long resident of Sandusky.  Both my husband (1981 SHS graduate) and I (1988 graduate) are very involved with Sandusky City Schools along with our two daughters, KarleeAnn and Mallory, (2020 and 2022 graduates) and four stepchildren, (two that are SHS graduates). I have three grandchildren, all who currently attend Sandusky City Schools. I attended Heidelberg College and chose Music and Pre-Law as my majors. My father is a Sandusky High School Alumni, as too are my sisters.  In 1989, my younger sister, Karrie, who was a sophomore attending Sandusky High and her friend, Michelle were tragically killed in a car/train accident. I currently serve as the Vice President of the Michelle Wightman-Karrie Wieber Charitable Foundation in memory of my sister and Michelle.  My mom is from Rhode Island and is certainly part of the “Sandusky City Schools Blue Streak Family” being employed with the district for close to 30 years. I was the president of the Hancock Parent Council for 12 years and a substitute for the in the school district for two years. I am an original member of the Parent Congress and have served on many boards throughout my time here at Sandusky City Schools. I am very active and passionate about Sandusky City Schools and hope to continue promoting and enhancing education at Sandusky City Schools through the Envision 2030 plan.
