The Chief Executive Officer and Superintendent is making two recommendations regarding the next phase of the re-entry plan for Sandusky City Schools.
Recommendation 1: On October 19, 2020, the Sandusky City Schools will open our schools for in-person learning on a five-day traditional workweek. Individual communication to each student will occur following the Board of Education meeting on October 7th.
Recommendation 2: Students and parents who desire to maintain their virtual platform for school may continue in that fashion. An enrollment period will be announced following the Board of Education meeting on October 7th.
The 5 day traditional school week will follow this schedule:
Sandusky Early Learning Academy (SELA)
All Kindergarten students only on October 19th
All Preschool students start on October 26th
Sandusky Primary School (SPS)
All 1st grade students only on October 19th
All 2nd grade students only on October 20th
All students on October 21st
Sandusky Intermediate (SIS)
All 3rd grade students only on October 19th
All 3rd and 4th grade students only on October 20th
All 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students only on October 21st
All students, 3rd - 6th, on October 22nd
The Regional Center for Advanced Academic Studies (RCAAS)
All students in grades 3rd-6th will on October 19th
Sandusky Middle School (SMS)
All 8th grade students on October 19th
All 7th grade students on October 20th
All SMS students on October 21st
Sandusky High School (SHS)
All students in grades 9th-12th will start on October 19th
Sandusky Digital Learning Center (SDLC)
All students will remain at home and continue their assignments as normal.
Sandusky Career Center (SCC)
All adult education students will continue with their regular scheduled classes.
