The Sandusky Schools Board of Education members met in the monthly business meeting on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 and accepted the resignation of long-term board member Brigitte Green-Churchwell. Mrs. Churchwell has served on the Board of Education for nearly ten years and has held the office of both president and vice-president. Mrs. Churchwell is a graduate of Sandusky High School, a former teacher at Ontario Elementary School and now serves as the Director of Student Academic Enrichment in the Teaching and Learning Center at Bowling Green State University Firelands Campus. Mrs. Churchwell indicated that she was resigning for both professional and family reasons.
