Releasing of the State of the Schools Address Video
Sandusky City Schools will be releasing a video recording of the Annual 2021 State of the Schools Address at 6:00 pm on Thursday, March 18, 2021. This recording can be found on the district’s website, YouTube Channel, and social media accounts. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s State of the Schools Address program had limited invitations to ensure social distancing. 

During the 2021 State of the Schools Address, Dr. Eugene Sanders, Chief Executive Officer and Superintendent, recognized various student academic and athletic achievements. Additionally, he recognized four individuals who have made a lifetime commitment to making a difference in the Blue Streak Community for the Lifetime Achievement Award. These four individuals are Mrs. Faith Denslow, Mr. James Hart, Mr. Bobby Langdon, and Mr. Daniel Leavell. 

In addition to recognizing student and community achievement, Dr. Sanders provided a presentation recapping the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, Envision 2030 strategic plan, and details regarding the districts Building Better Dreams facilities project. Dr. Stephen Sturgill, Chief of Staff and Transformation Officer, along with Dr. Vilicia Cade, Chief Academic Officer, provided district insights on key operation plans and academic updates.
