In accordance with federal regulations, an entity planning to submit a federal grant application must afford a reasonable opportunity for public comment on the application before it is submitted to the Ohio Department of Education (ODE) for approval. The following are the federal grants that the Sandusky City School District will submit for approval for the 2024-2025 school year: ARP ESSER, ARP IDEA, ARP-Homeless, Title I-A Improving Basic Programs, Title I-D Delinquent, Title I Non-Competitive, Supplemental School Improvement, Title II-A Supporting Effective Instruction, Title III Language Instruction for English Learners, Title IV-A Student Support and Academic Enrichment, Title V-B Rural and Low-Income, IDEA-B Special Education, and IDEA Early Childhood Special Education. In addition, the District will request public comment on the One Needs Assessment and One Plan.
