Testing Information
All prospective Sandusky Career Center students are required to pass the WorkKeys® test prior to admission. WorkKeys® scores are based on a skill level beginning at 3 and depending on the test going as high as a 7. The following three tests are required for each program: Applied Mathematics, Locating Information and Reading. Please anticipate 3 ½ to 4 hours to complete the series of tests. Below you will find the passing scores needed for each test broken down by program.
Testing takes place at Sandusky High School. You will need to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the test. Please have a picture ID with you. Any student arriving late or without an ID will not be allowed to test. Calculators will be provided for the math portion of the test. No less then 5 students and no more then 25 students at a time will be permitted to take the test on the scheduled day. Registration is based on a first come, first serve basis. We require 48 hours notice if you need to reschedule your test. Failure to do so will require a rescheduling fee of $17.00 per subject.
