Financial Aid
 Financial Aid may be available to help pay the costs of tuition, books, lab fees and other expenses. Each source of financial aid has its own guidelines regarding eligibility and application procedures. Some of the sources of financial assistance are: PELL Grant, Direct Loans, Veteran G.I. Bill, Ohio Rehabilitation Services and Your Job Store. In order to be eligible for federal funding you must be enrolled in a program with 600 hours or more.  Not all courses qualify for financial assistance. Please note all deadlines when applying for aid. This information can be found in your admissions packet or through the links provided.
 
 
STUDENT ELIGIBLITY

To receive aid from any of the federal student aid programs you must meet all of the following criteria:

Demonstrate financial need, except for some loan programs. 
Have a high school diploma or GED. 
Be enrolled as a regular student working toward a degree or certificate in an eligible  program. 
Be a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen. 
Have a valid Social Security Number. 
Meet satisfactory academic progress standards set by the school. 
Certify that you will use federal student aid only for educational purposes. 
Certify that you are not in default on a federal student loan and that you do not owe money on a federal student grant. 
Comply with the Selective Service registration if required. If you are a male aged 18 through 25, and haven’t yet registered you may do so by checking a box on the FAFSA. You may also register on line at www.sss.gov
Not be incarcerated in a federal or state penal institution.
Not have been convicted under federal or state law for the sale of or possession of drugs. (Period of ineligibility Period of ineligibility depends on the type and number of convictions. To find out how, or if, this law applies to you call 1.800.433.3243).
