At the end of each grading period the upper elementary grades (grades 4-6) of the Sandusky City Schools recognize students for their achievement in the subject areas of reading, math, written communication, social studies, science, art, music, and physical education. To qualify for Honor, Merit, and Achievement Awards, the following criteria must be met:
HONOR ROLL: At least 4 A’s, two being in the subjects of Reading, Math, or Written Communication. No “C” or “I” grades in other subjects.
MERIT ROLL: All grades of “B” or better with no more than one “C.”
ACHIEVEMENT AWARD: All grades of “C” or better.
