Does your child qualify for the School Meals Program? If so, your family may qualify for free health coverage! Healthy Start offers free health care coverage for kids(birth to age 19) and pregnant women. Healthy Families offers free health care coverage for the entire family - parents AND kids.

 

FDA and You: News for Health Educators and Students

The mission of this site is to inform and encourage health educators and students to learn about the latest FDA medical product and health news. They publish articles that are timely, interesting and relevant to middle and high school students, their parents and health educators.

This fun, multimedia site is designed to teach kids about health and nutrition. The Healthy Schools Program is being launched by the American Heart Association and the William J. Clinton Foundation, with funding from The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, and in collaboration with members of the Alliance for a Healthier Generation. This is a network of organizations and individuals concerned with childhood obesity and physical inactivity among America’s youth.
