Firefighter I-II is designed for students with no prior firefighter training who are pursuing a career in fire and rescue services. In one comprehensive course, students can achieve firefighter certification at the highest level available in Ohio. Topics in this 256-hour course include:

- Firefighter Tools and Equipment
- Personal Protective Equipment and SCBA

- Water Supplies, Hose, Nozzles, Streams and Foam Applications

- Forcible Entry
- Ventilation
- Emergency Medical Care
- Hazardous Materials (Operations Level)
- Incident Command
- Emergency Vehicle Operations
- Live Fire Training and Practical Evolutions
